After a long wait, Honda introduced its most sophisticated electric SUV: the 2024 Honda Prologue. Announced in the last quarter of 2023, the Prologue went on display in 2024, as the brand’s second EV. There’s a lot of anticipation around what this vehicle will bring, and how Honda fits into this giant electric vehicle space. There’s no room for doubts about the truck’s capabilities, and for good reason. Honda has always been a well-known automaker of dependable, tough, and fuel-efficient vehicles. Aside from the highly-anticipated SUV, there are many Honda cars to buy in 2024. Honda’s 2024 lineup includes some of the most reliable cars of all time. You can choose between robust trucks, classy sedans, or the best-selling SUVs.

Here’s the buying guide to the 2024 Honda Lineup.

2024 Honda Pilot

The Honda Pilot is one of our all-time favorites as far as SUVs go. Last year, Honda completely redesigned the Pilot, making it the largest and most powerful SUV the company has ever produced. The same applies to the latest 2024 Honda Pilot, which is now more advanced than ever. It’s spacious, powerful, fuel-economic, and fun to drive. It‘s one of the best SUVs for families of 5 or more. The Pilot is Honda’s largest SUV.  if you can forgive the smaller infotainment screen and the lack of a more fuel-efficient hybrid model, you’ll enjoy an SUV that is versatile and off-road capable.

The new Honda Pilot comes in six trim levels: LX,  Sport, EX-L, TrailSport, Touring, and Elite. The Flagship Drive team particularly loves the Touring trim, which is slightly higher up the lineup. It’s also among the most equipped, with a Panoramic Moonroof and a Bose Premium Sound System. Under the hood is a 3.5-liter V6 engine engine, which sends 285 horsepower to the front wheels or all wheels. The towing capacity ranges from 3,500 pounds for FWD and 5,000 pounds for AWD models. And here’s what you should expect from the 2024 Honda Pilot.

2024 Honda CR-V

2024 Honda CR-V

The CR-V is now 4.70 meters long, 1.86 meters, and comes with a longer wheelbase. This means that the 2024 CR-V SUV is now larger than its predecessor.

The standard CR-V model has a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, which produces up to 190 horsepower. Pairing with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT), power goes to either the front wheels or all wheels. This setup is standard on the LX, EX, and EX-L models. According to estimates, the CR-V will get 27 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the interstate.

2024 Honda Prelude

Last year, Honda unveiled the famed Prelude at the Japan Mobility Show. During the event, the brand called this concept a ‘prelude’ to a new electrified model. So, while we know that the Prelude comes with a hybrid powertrain, Honda hasn’t yet shared details about the powertrain specs and other performance details. What we do know about the Honda Prelude is that it will hit the market in 2024.

Aside from its design, the upcoming Prelude coupe, which will replace the original model that was retired in 2001, is expected to maintain front-wheel drive. 2024 Honda e: NS2

Honda revealed the E: NS2 concept electric vehicle (EV) concept at Auto Shanghai 2023, along with the sibling SUV, the E: NP2. Now, you might wonder; what does the name mean? Well, we have the answer.  This is a placeholder name for the new platform and electric brand that Honda plans to introduce to the Chinese market, based on one of the prototypes that the firm displayed in the spring.

The e: NS2 crossover is made by a company called Dongfeng Honda. Unlike other Honda products that are sold around the world, the e: NS2 and the e: NP2 are only available on the Chinese market.

Now, buyers of the 2024 Honda Accord will have the option of a hybrid powertrain engine. All models of the 2024 Accord come standard with an FWD transmission.

The standard Accord comes equipped with a 1.5L Inline-4 engine. The only way to drive this engine is with a CVT drivetrain. The hybrid version of the vehicle has the same drivetrain layout, albeit with a 2.0-liter Inline-6 cylinder engine.

2024 Honda Prologue

Before we get into the Honda Prologue, let’s first talk about what the name means. According to the dictionary, the word “prologue” means a separate introduction of a literary work before the main narrative. It’s what comes in between the introduction and the main content.

The Honda Prologue is the most eagerly anticipated Honda vehicle, with fans hoping for its release as soon as feasible. The 2024 Honda Prologue introduces us to the next era of Honda electrified vehicles. It has a fully electric powertrain with lots of technology and a long driving range. The redesigned 2024 Honda Prologue includes an enhanced design and advanced technology, increasing the vehicle’s utility.

While the standard CR-V model has a 190-hp turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, the CR-V hybrid model gets its power from an Atkinson cycle 2.0-litre petrol engine and an electric motor for a total power output of 186 bhp. With a battery capacity of over 17 kWh, the plug-in hybrid variant will have an EV range of about 82 kilometers. Also, the plug-in model has a larger cargo capacity than the ICE version, thanks to the battery arrangement.
