The 2025 Chevy Blazer EV Has Additional HP and New SS Model

To compete with the Kia EV6, the Hyundai Ioniq 5, and the Toyota bZ4x, Chevrolet has introduced exciting changes for the 2025 Blazer EV. This new edition of the electric Blazer SUV brings a lot of new features to the table, like extended power and range. For 2025, the Chevy Blazer SUV introduces a new entry-level front-wheel drive (FWD) model, which starts at $45,995 (plus destination) and brings a  220 hp powertrain setup. The 2025 Blazer also comes with a new range-topping SS model, which costs $61,995 and has a 595 hp setup. 

The AWD Blazer model has a price cut of $1,200, leaving an MSRP of $48,995 in 2025. While the all-wheel drive price goes down, the RWD Blazer price goes up by $1,395. What’s New in the 2025 Chevy Blazer?

The 2025 Blazer EV’s lineup now includes a new entry-level Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) model. Priced at $45,995, the base FWD variant offers 220 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque. It’s a more budget-friendly yet impressive entry into the world of electric crossovers.

Also new in 2025 is the Blazer SS model. Providing 595 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque, the new SS variant is the most powerful model in the Blazer lineup. Thanks to the powertrain, the Blazer Ev SS model can accelerate from 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds.  

Notable additions in the electric 2025 Blazer SUV are the enhanced AWD and RWD Variants. The AWD and RWD models have received a power boost and increased driving range. The AWD variant now has 300 hp, 355 lb-ft of torque, and a range of 283 miles. The RWD variant boasts 365 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque, with an improved range of 334 miles.

2025 Blazer EV Powertrains

The power output of the 2025 Blazer ranges from 220 horsepower in the entry-level FWD model to 595 horsepower in the SS model. Depending on the powertrain and features, the driving range varies by model, with the AWD driving to 283 miles and the RWD model offering 334 miles on a single charge.

Upgraded Features and Packages

In addition to powertrain enhancements, the 2025 Blazer EV lineup includes new options and packages. 

Midnight and Sport Packages

Chevrolet offers the Midnight and Sport Packages for the Blazer LT trim level. These packages offer bold styling updates for a sportier appearance.

Super Cruise Driver Assistance

For the 2025 model year, GM’s Super Cruise driver assistance is standard on the top-tier SS trim level. This semi-autonomous driving feature is also available as an option on the LT and RS AWD trims.

Two-Tone Roof Option

For the 2025 Blazer EV buyers, Chevy offers a two-tone roof for the LT and RS trim levels. This new two-tone roof option gives the Blazer EV a distinctive look.

2025 Blazer SUV Pricing and Federal Tax Credit Eligibility

The 2025 Blazer SUV price starts at $45,995 with the base FWD model, which carries a 220-hp powertrain setup. Pricing goes all the way up to $61,995 for the 595-hp SS model, which sits at the top of the Blazer SUV lineup in 2025. All Blazer EV models may qualify for a federal tax credit of up to $7,500, helping to offset costs.
