Pricing and Which One to Buy

The 2025 Kia EV6 pricing will start at around $44,000 and can go up to $63,000, depending on the chosen trim and options.

With the $44,000 base price tag, the new EV6 is competitive within its segment, especially when you look at its good value for the technology and performance it delivers.

EV Motor, Power, and Performance

The 2025 Kia EV6 offers various powertrain options to suit different driving styles. Buyers can either have the rear-wheel drive EV6, which is available with 167 or 225-horsepower output options.

For extra power, opt for the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) versions, which are available with either 320 or 576 horsepower.

As you would expect, the 2025 EV6 AWD models provide more power and enhanced handling capabilities than the rear-wheel drive versions.

The 320-hp EV6 GT-Line AWD offers quick acceleration and agile handling, while the 576-hp GT model features an electronic limited-slip differential, firmer chassis tuning, adaptive suspension, and more robust brakes. This model competes with the new Ford Mustang.

Amazing 0-60 MPH Times

Having talked about the EV6’s power output, another strong selling point of the 2025 version is its quick acceleration and top speed. Just like the peak power, the acceleration time differs in each trim.

The 2025 EV6 GT-Line, which features a 320-hp powertrain and AWD, can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds.

The 167-hp RWD EV6 trim level achieves a 60-mph sprint in 6.7 seconds. The 576-hp GT model is particularly impressive, going from zero to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds, an acceleration that rivals some high-performance sports cars.

In a 0-to-150-to-0 speed test, a previous 2023 EV6 GT model performed nearly as well as a Toyota Supra, stopping in just 31.2 seconds.

Range, Charging, and Battery Life

The 2025 Kia EV6 has either a 58.0-kWh battery pack (entry-level Light RWD model) or an 84.0-kWh pack (all other models).

The 2025 EPA range estimates for the new 84.0-kWh pack are not yet available. However, the previous model’s 77.4-kWh pack was rated at up to 310 miles.

The 2025 EV6 supports 800-volt fast charging, allowing it to charge from 10% to 80% in under 18 minutes when connected to a 350-kW fast charger. On a fast charger setup, you can add 70 miles of driving range in less than 5 minutes.

Aside from its fast charging capabilities, the 2025 EV6 comes with an 11-kW onboard charger, which charges the battery from 10% to 100% in about 7 hours using a Level 2 outlet.

Fuel Economy and Real-World MPGe

As a high-performance electric car, the 2025 Kia EV6 has good fuel economy. The Single-Motor RWD versions deliver up to 117 MPGe combined.

The Dual-Motor AWD EV6  models deliver a fuel efficiency of 109 MPGe with standard 19-inch wheels and only 96 MPGe with optional 20-inch wheels.

The top-of-the-line high-performance 2025 Kia EV6 GT model returns a fuel economy of 79 MPGe combined

Interior, Comfort, and Cargo

The 2025 Kia EV6 has a modern and attractive interior, featuring a large digitized dashboard screen and practical storage solutions. The interior design incorporates a floating center console and a two-spoke steering wheel, which comes in a two-tone appeal. For a more luxurious appearance, the 2025 EV6 interior features gold accents throughout the cockpit and cabin. The seats are covered in premium leather, adding an extra layer of sophistication to the already awesome interior design.

Thanks to the long wheelbase, the EV6’s cabin is spacious. There is enough passenger space to match the mid-size Kia Telluride, Sportage, and Hyundai Tucson models. The seats themselves are comfortable, even on long road trips.

In terms of hauling, the 2025 Kia EV6 offers 28 cubic feet of cargo space behind the backseat. This expands to 54 cubic feet with the rear seats folded flat. Additional storage is available under the front trunk, though it’s not as large as some might expect.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The 2025 Kia EV6 features a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system integrated with a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster.

As Hyundai does with its in-car services, the EV6’s infotainment system supports over-the-air updates and responds to various voice commands. Standard connectivity features include Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Wireless Smartphone Charging, and a Wi-Fi Hotspot.

Those seeking a more premium listening experience should opt for the optional Meridian sound system, which comes with 14 speakers.

2025 Kia EV6 Safety Features

Kia equips the 2025 EV6 with a suite of standard safety and driver-assistance features, such as Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind-Spot Monitoring, Lane-Keeping Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and Adaptive Cruise Control.
