What You Should Know About The New 2025 Audi Q3

0

The 2025 Audi Q3 is about to hit the market, and we’re excited about Audi’s flagship crossover. A lot of details on the Audi Q3 specifications are still a mystery at this point. But we do know that the new 2025 Audi Q3 comes with Interior design changes that include the finest futuristic tech and premium leather. Expect a lot of Interior comfort in 2025 Q3. Audi also gave the new Q3 some great exterior enhancements, giving it a new front end, a Sci-Fi bumper, and a more traditional twist. And from the spy shots we’ve seen, the Q3 resembles the Cupra Terramar, but we’ll get to that in a bit.

Overview Of The Audi Q3

If you’re wondering why there’s so much buzz around the new Q3, the answer is simple: because it’s a Q3 – Audi’s winning formula. The first Audi Q3 hit the European market back in 2011. Upon its arrival in the SUV-loving United States in 2015, the Audi Q3 made a huge impact. Throughout the years, the Audi Q3 has been a standout performer for the luxury brand. And it looks like the Audi Q3 is still here to stay. For the 2025 model year, the Audi Q3 goes against the BMW X1 and Mercedes GLA.

The 2025 Audi Q3 Looks Like A Rebadged Cupra Terramar

Carscoops’ spy pics showcased a fresh 2025 Q3 redesign and and major technological upgrade for the upcoming third iteration of this compact SUV. In a curious approach aimed at reducing development costs, the upcoming Audi Q3 shares key components and bodywork with the Cupra Terramar SUV. This did raise some eyebrows.

From those spy shots, the next-gen Q3 2025’s design aligns with the Cupra’s Terramar. We know, right? Seems too good to be true. But once you take a closer look at the designs of the latest Q3 and the Cupra Terramar, you’ll notice a clear resemblance. The only difference is the front-end styling and the doors. Is that good for the new Q3? Absolutely. Don’t let the shared design make you think otherwise. Despite these shared elements, Audi’s latest compact offering stands out with a sleeker and more dynamic appearance compared to the current second-generation Q3.

Redesign Details Of The New 2025 Audi Q3

The 2025 Q3 redesign brings a futuristic design that features a connecting LED light bar between the taillights and split headlights with an upper strip for the daytime running lights (DRLs) and turn signals.

As we mentioned earlier on the Audi Q3 facelift details, the SUV’s bumper incorporates rectangular cutouts cleverly integrating the low and high-beam headlights.

Even though the design is as modern as you would expect a 2025 SUV to be, the facelifted Q3 keeps some oldies. Notably, the Q3 redesign features traditional door handles instead of flush ones, adding a touch of classic elegance to the overall aesthetic.

The Audi Q3’s Interior Design Is A Bit Of A Mixed Bag

The present Q3 faces criticism for its interior. While the SUV’s cabin is premium and high-quality, it does look slightly awkward. Like they tried too hard to make it look good to the point where they (sort of) ruined it. Sort of. The 2025 Q3 will likely address this issue by giving us a more attractive interior design, blending futurism with the use of premium, recycled materials.

The New Audi Q3 Interior Tech And Infotainment Features

Standout features within the cabin include an OLED instrument cluster seamlessly incorporating essential driving information. Taking center stage is a sizable infotainment display that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additionally, an augmented reality Head-Up Display (AR HUD) is set to facilitate easy navigation through unfamiliar territory.

The Q3 2025 Shares The MQB Evo Architecture

The 2025 Audi Q3 will use the same MQB Evo underpinnings used in the all-new VW Tiguan and Cupra Terramar. This means you should expect the 2025 Q3’s dimensions to grow, leading to a bigger cabin.

The 2025 Q3 Offers A Range Of Engines, Including A Plug-In Hybrid

The Q3 will likely share similar powertrains with these models. While not officially confirmed on the Audi Q3 performance upgrades, we expect the Q3 to offer a diverse range of options. These options should include gasoline, diesel, mild hybrid, and plug-in hybrid choices. This way, the Q3 will cater to everyone, even the most eco-conscious drivers.

On the gas-powered engine end, the 2025 Audi Q3 will likely have 1.5-liter petrol, 2.0-liter diesel, and a couple of 2.0-liter gasoline units. It will likely maintain the same eight-speed automatic and the standard quattro all-wheel drive system.

On the Audi Q3 hybrid powertrains side, the SUV will have a 1.5 TSI Evo2 plug-in hybrid. This powertrain generates a robust 268 horsepower with power distributed to all four wheels. This plug-in hybrid variant has a 19.7 kWh battery pack, providing an electric range of up to 100 km.

Audi Q3 Updates On Competition

In addition to the BMW X1 and Mercedes GLA, the 2025 Audi Q3 competes with the Rover Evoque and the Alfa Romeo Tonale.

2025 Audi Q3 Release Date

Audi will produce the Q3 at the VW Group’s Györ plant in Hungary. An official unveiling is anticipated in the upcoming months. Expect the 2025 Q3 to hit the market later in 2024 as a 2025 model-year SUV.
