Following its A6 Avant E-Tron sibling, the 2025 Audi Q6 E-Tron is about to debut on American soil, and we’re excited to get the show on the road. Built on the PPE platform, the 2025 Q6 E-Tron has a 100 kWh battery and two motor configurations delivering up to 510 hp. With a spacious interior featuring the Digital Stage interface and augmented reality HUD, it offers cutting-edge technology. The exterior design showcases customizable lighting signatures while driving dynamics prioritize rear-wheel torque delivery. Its 800-volt electrical system enables rapid charging, achieving 10-80% in just 21 minutes. Scheduled for release in late 2024, the Q6 E-Tron marks a new era of electric SUVs.

Overview Of The 2025 Audi Q6 E-Tron Lineup

The 2025 Audi Q6 E-tron represents Audi’s groundbreaking foray into electric vehicles, utilizing the innovative PPE (Premium Platform Electric) architecture. As Audi’s first model on this platform, the Q6 E-Tron embodies the brand’s commitment to electrification and sustainability.

Related to the Porsche Macan EV, the 2025 Q6 E-tron will set new standards in the electric SUV segment. The Q6 E-Tron signifies Audi’s dedication to performance, efficiency, and luxury in the EV landscape.

Parametric Exterior Design

The Audi Q6 E-tron boasts a sleek exterior design that prioritizes aerodynamics and efficiency. In dimensions, the 2025 Q6 E-Tron measures 4,771 mm in length, 1,993 mm in width, and 1,648 mm in height. Thanks to its electric powertrain and floor-mounted battery, the SUV has a short overhang and a long wheelbase. This brings benefits like enhancing stability and interior space.

2025 Audi Q6 E-Tron Unique Exterior Lighting

One exciting feature of the Audi Q6 E-Tron is its customizable lighting signatures. Through the telematics system or the MyAudi app, drivers can choose from eight animations for the headlights and lights.

Peppy Electric Powertrain

The 2025 Audi Q6 E-tron is propelled by an advanced electric powertrain built on the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) platform, shared with the Porsche Macan EV. Like the Porsche Taycan and the brand’s  E-Tron GT model, the 2025 Q6 E-Tron has a cutting-edge 800-volt electrical system. Thanks to this advanced charging system, buyers of the all-electric q6  will experience fast and efficient charging capabilities.

The lithium-ion battery, with a total capacity of 100 kWh, powers the new Q6 E-tron’s electric motors. The 2025 Q6 E-Tron delivers a combined output of 382 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque. This massive power output allows the new Q6 E-Tron to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. For a crossover SUV, the Q6’s 6-second acceleration is good, placing it close to the Volkswagen ID.4. But still a bit slow when compared to the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N’s 3.3-second acceleration time. Still, users can expect exhilarating driving dynamics and responsive handling on the road.

Those who find the base model’s 382 sluggish can opt for the performance-oriented SQ6 E-Tron variant, which offers 510 horsepower and 605 lb-ft of torque. Unlike the base model, the 2025 Audi SQ6 E-Tron can go from 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds. With its prioritized torque delivery to the rear axle and wider rear tires, the Q6 E-Tron ensures dynamic and engaging driving performance.

2025 Audi Q6 E-Tron 800-volt electrical system

Similar to the innovative J1 platform underpinning the Audi e-tron GT and Porsche Taycan, the PPE platform of the Audi Q6 E-Tron incorporates cutting-edge technology, including an 800-volt electrical system. Its lithium-ion battery, composed of 12 modules and 180 cells, boasts a robust 100 kWh capacity, with 94.9 kWh being effectively usable.

Good 500-600 KM Driving Range

According to the WLTP standard, the 2025 Q6 E-Tron achieves a driving range of 625 kilometers, while its higher-performing counterpart, the SQ6 E-Tron, slightly trails with a range of approximately 525 kilometers. However, real-world driving conditions may result in ranges of approximately 470-500 kilometers for the 2025 Q6 E-tron and 370-400 kilometers for the SQ6 E-tron.

Interior Features and Technology

The 2025 Audi Q6 E-tron boasts a cutting-edge interior, blending advanced technology with luxurious comfort. Audi’s innovative E3 1.2 electronic architecture, orchestrates seamless integration of digital functionalities.

Expansive Cabin Space

With its 2,899-mm wheelbase, the 2025 Audi Q6 E-tron provides ample legroom for passengers in the rear seats. The trunk offers a storage capacity of 526 liters, expandable to 1,529 liters when the rear seats are folded down.
