Following the momentum of the current model, the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport receives a mild refresh. Competing with the Escape, Subaru Crosstrek, and Hyundai Tucson, this subcompact 5-seater SUV has changes to the exterior and interior. In the spy photos I’ve seen from Ford Authority, the Bronco has received interior and exterior updates in 2025. Competing with the Jeep Compass and Subaru Crosstrek, the 2025 Bronco Sport comes with a lot of standard safety features. Even though the SUV was heavily camouflaged in the photos, I spotted a few things. One notable addition to the Sport model is the side camera in the mirrors. These hint at a new 360-degree camera system in the 2025 Bronco Sport. There is also a new Badlands Bronco Sport trim, which comes with a terrain mode selector and other off-road technology.
Aside from the few lighting tweaks, the 2025 Bronco Sport will be a carryover from the current 2024 model. But, the new tweaks still give us a lot more to look forward to. Highlights of the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport include the new off-road trim, a 360-degree camera system, and the peppy 250-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine for the Badlands Edition. Here’s what you should know about the upcoming 2025 Bronco Sport.

Cargo space is impressive in the new Bronco Sport, with 32.5 cubic feet behind the rear seats and 65.2 cubic feet with the seats folded.
Engine & Performance Specs
The powertrain for the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport will remain the same as the current 2024 model due to the mild refresh. This means you can expect the same output and performance, except for the new off-road Badlands trim level.
The base engine in the 2025 Bronco Sport is the turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine, which produces 181 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque.
The Bronco Sport also offers a more powerful 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine for the Badlands Edition, delivering 250 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque.
Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and come with four-wheel drive and a terrain selector.
